Table Review: Triton DTS Lumbar/Cervical Decompression Table
Posted by 1 on
The Triton DTS is one of the most popular spinal decompression tables ever sold. Because of it’s price point and versatility the Triton continues to be one of the best selling spinal decompression tables to date.
Price is one of the Triton’s best selling features. At around $10,000 brand new the Triton is affordable for many doctors as opposed to tables such as the DRX9000, AccuSpina, spineMed and others that run at least 2-3 times as much.
Our favorite feature about the Triton DTS spinal decompression table is it’s versatility. We have always recommended that a table that offers the most amount of patient positions will generally bring about the most effectiveness for the most amount of patients. The ability to treat patients supine, prone and prone with extension will increase effectiveness for a wide variety of conditions, ages, and severities.
A couple of drawbacks to the Triton DTS are that it does not offer vibration therapy. We have always thought that vibration therapy increases the likelihood of effectiveness. We also recommend a table that allows the table to do true lateral flexion. By laterally flexing the table away from the disc herniation you will increase the likelihood of effectiveness.
All in all we would rate the Triton DTS an 8/10 for overall effectiveness, features, price and patient comfort.
